Lauren is a UK-based freelance writer currently living in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. Following a decade working within the media industry and living a frugally metropolitan life in London, she relocated in 2019 to give her the mental space to pursue creative opportunities full-time. She really hates talking about herself in third person; but here we are.

In essays and op-eds, Lauren writes about film & tv, men on screen & female desire, y2k pop culture & millennial nostalgia and mental health. She also pens the occasional work of fiction and was longlisted for the Laura Kinsella Fellowship 2020 by the National Centre for Writing for her short story The Little Things. You can find Lauren’s words in places like The Guardian, The Independent, Refinery29, NYLON, The Cut, Vulture & ELLE. When she isn’t writing, she can be found devouring a bowl of pasta or posting on the nose Scorpio memes to her Instagram stories.
